I established a departmental alumni and external relations program including the creation of alumni engagement strategy, advisory board management, regional and local events, external relations management, and budget creation and management.
Learning to create relationships in this way was crucial to my professional growth.

I plan alumni events year round with alumni around the country. Holding a full time intern position in Summer 2016 fully prepared me for a career in the alumni Relations field.

I was fortunate enough to spend Summer 2015 at one of the largest minor league baseball clubs in the country. I mastered working under pressure as well as making things up as you go- you never know how long an inning is going to go or if contestants will show up- so we had to be ready for anything.

I coordinated internal and external catering orders, and learned to manage multiple clients and events within deadlines. Troubleshooting was the greatest strength I learned in this position as I was the contact during various events at my venue
